Highmark Well360: Three Simplified Employee Health Packages

Highmark has simplified our Well360 portfolio for the 2026 benefit year. Instead of six packages, there are now three robust choices: Well360 Core, Well360 Choice, and Well360 Complete. We recognize the importance of whole-person wellness and include a mental well-being component in all packages.

What is Well360?

Highmark has offered Well360 solutions to employer customers for the past decade. New clinical partnerships and innovations in technology have allowed us to simplify the offering while expanding options. Well360 is a next-generation package for personalized health care for a multigenerational workforce.

Three tiers of employee health benefits

Highmark has simplified offerings in response to trends in health care consumerization. Today’s customers and plan members expect the speed, quality, and personalization they get from retailers and service providers.

Robust performance guarantees add value while encouraging better health outcomes. The goal is to give employers the flexibility to select health solutions based on their specific needs.

Well360 Core: Access to essentials

Well360 Core provides foundational solutions for preventive care, hospital visits, integrated pharmacy benefits, and behavioral health. Members have access to a 24/7 nurse line and virtual visits for urgent care and mental well-being. Highmark’s phone, chat, and online services — including the My Highmark app — help fulfill the promise of ease and efficiency.

Optional add-ons for Core include:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Health and wellness rewards.
  • Outpatient and/or specialty utilization management.
  • Site of care services.
  • Virtual visits for primary care, dermatology, and women’s health.

Well360 Choice: Freedom to choose

Well360 Choice builds on the foundation of Well360 Core, but with the flexibility for additional options — premier Member Service, condition management solutions, and integrated care program. Customers can earn a discount on the model if all utilization management options are selected.

Other options (in addition to those that come with Well360 Core) include:

  • Premier member experience specialist team with dedicated phone line and extended hours.
  • Virtual programs for diabetes management, musculoskeletal care, weight and lifestyle management, kidney care management, and congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease management.
  • Virtual second opinion via consulting specialists from Cleveland Clinic.
  • Customized app/web experience with integration of third-party employer-sponsored vendors and solutions.

Well360 Complete: High-touch, all-inclusive care

Well360 Complete lives up to its name. Offered to larger companies with 250+ employees, this top-tier model includes all of our living health solutions, plus:

  • Performance guarantees with few limitations.
  • Premier member experience specialist team with a dedicated phone line and extended hours for exceptional phone- and chat-based Member Service.

Selecting the right Well360 package

Flexibility is the feature when selecting the right Well360 model for employee needs. Each tier offers options for unique workforce health wants, needs, and challenges — by industry, location, and/or population.

Claims analysis by OASIS — Highmark’s internal, web-based application — creates client-specific value models. OASIS helps employers make data-driven decisions about the most impactful Well360 solutions for their workforce.

For example, an employer can add built-in programs like virtual physical care to help workers be their best and healthiest. In turn, Highmark can ultimately deliver lower expenses due to better care management for members with acute and chronic conditions.
