Buffalo, N.Y. (July 31, 2025) — As Highmark Stadium prepares for its final season, Highmark's TaleGate will re-launch for the 2025 season at Friday’s Blue and Red Scrimmage. The story-telling trailer offers fans an immersive experience to celebrate and capture cherished memories from the stadium's remarkable history throughout its farewell season.
Back for its second year, TaleGate immerses fans in a nostalgic environment, inviting them to submit video tributes inside a recording booth trailer filled with memorabilia, authentic stadium seats, and iconic photos from over the decades. Fans can also upload their personal videos via the Buffalo Bills mobile app. The success of last year's initiative, which garnered over 600 tributes, memories, and videos from fans both near and far, has inspired the continuation of this celebration, with select submissions highlighted on the Buffalo Bills app throughout the season.
TaleGate complements the Bills' efforts to commemorate the stadium's rich history, dating back to its opening in 1973. Highmark sought to create a unique experience that would preserve and carry cherished memories from the stadium's past into its future at the new Highmark Stadium.
After an overwhelming response of both in-person and digital TaleGate submissions in 2024, Highmark is adding more fun surprises for fans who share their memories, including a chance to win Bills tickets, an exciting VIP pre-game experience in Highmark's Igloo Village, a chance to see their story live in the Bills mobile app and a chance to be featured in the "Homage to Highmark Stadium" book, that the Bills are developing.
Last season, TaleGate collected a range of heartfelt submissions that highlighted years of connections between the Bills, the Stadium and their fans. These included stories such as one fan's account of sneaking her mother to games from her nursing home, and another who shared how a call from Jim Kelly and Leonard Smith helped him through his cancer diagnosis and treatment. Fans also expressed gratitude for the team's support following the events of 5/14, and shared a collective memory of the emotion that filled the stadium following Damar Hamlin’s medical emergency. One of the most recurring themes was memories of fans attending games and sharing special experiences with family members, who shaped their love for the Bills.
The TaleGate trailer will be open for fans at home games on: Friday, August 1; Sunday, September 7; Thursday, September 18; and Sunday, November 2. Additionally, fans can submit video memories through the mobile app.
