Highmark releases 2023 Highmark Bright Blue Futures Community Report

PITTSBURGH (April 2, 2024) — Today Highmark released its 2023 Community Report which highlights the impact of its Highmark Bright Blue Futures corporate giving and community involvement program. This report offers a snapshot into the program’s efforts in 2023 to advance the health and resilience of individuals and families throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, and New York.

Report highlights:

• Our partners anticipate providing more than 20,000 individuals with access to much-needed oral, vision and health care with Highmark’s 2023 support.
• The inaugural Highmark Foundation’s signature Highmark Bright Blue Futures Awards program recognized and supported 16 transformative organizations across our footprint awarding $465,000 in grants.
• $18.4 million has been raised by health and human services organizations through the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community since its inception.   
  
• More than $6 million has been donated by our employees through the United Way Campaign over the past five years.
