Highmark Blue Shield and The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg (WACH) to host "State of Women's Health" Forum in honor of International Women's Day

Harrisburg, Pa. (March 6, 2024) — In honor of International Women’s Day, Highmark Blue Shield will host and sponsor a women’s health forum, at which healthcare professionals will discuss women’s health across all life stages.

This is a part of Highmark’s charitable giving and community involvement program, Highmark Bright Blue Futures, which is committed to increasing access to care and resources to improve health outcomes for all. Reducing health inequities and disparities among targeted populations is a priority for Highmark Bright Blue Futures.

Panelists Dr. Ada Emuwa, Dr. Sharee Livingston, Charity Nwaneri, Evelin LaPaz, and Tabita Tugulia will discuss comprehensive healthcare from puberty to menopause, aiming to improve health and well-being for all women. The session will be moderated by Dr. Renu Joshi.

The forum will take place on Friday, March 8, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Attendees can join the event in-person at Highmark Blue Shield in Camp Hill or virtually by visiting the WACH Facebook page.
