‘Feb Fun’ 2026 marks 10 years of enriching winter break activities for the community

Highmark delivers free and discounted family experiences at beloved WNY destinations

Buffalo, NY (February 2, 2026) — Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is pleased to announce the highly anticipated return of ‘Feb Fun,’ a week-long series of free and discounted family-friendly activities designed to enrich the winter break experience, Feb 15-20, for residents across Western New York.

This year marks a significant milestone as Highmark proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of this annual tradition, which has brought joy to more than 20,000 Western New Yorkers over the past decade.

"This initiative is about providing accessible opportunities for families to connect, explore, and create lasting memories together without financial burden. We've carefully curated a schedule that includes many of our partners to ensure there’s something for every age and interest, from enriching educational outings to active adventures."

The 2026 Feb Fun series kicks off with an exclusive Highmark Member Perk: Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield members will enjoy free admission to the Explore & More Children's Museum on Sunday, February 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Feb Fun continues through February 20th with a diverse array of engaging events designed for all ages and interests:

• Winter Adventures: Those looking for active adventures can participate in Highmark Day at Kissing Bridge, which will feature specially discounted tickets and rentals, plus free ice-skating events at two iconic locations: Ice at Canalside and the Classic Rink in East Aurora.
• Discovery: Families seeking discovery and exploration can experience free admission to the Buffalo Museum of Science. Please note that space is limited for this particular event.
• Playful Learning: Rolly Pollies will host several free events at their East Amherst, North Buffalo, and Orchard Park locations, promising engaging and interactive activities for younger children.
• Family Entertainment: The series also includes a family movie day at Seneca One, featuring IF, for a fun communal experience.
