Making generics more affordable – Highmark is working with a nonprofit drug manufacturer, CivicaScript, to create more generic alternatives to specialty medications. Members may also have access to a program called SensibleRx that guides members to the best, most effective generic medications.
Providing home delivery discounts3 – What’s better than skipping a trip to the pharmacy? Even more savings. Members can save an average of 29% on routine medications by having them delivered.
Connecting you with copay assistance – We’re connecting members to a great service called Copay Armor, a program that may reduce the cost of specialty medications through copay assistance.
Offering refill rewards – Now, you can stay on top of your refills and earn rewards for doing it. Thanks to a program called Sempre Health3, members can get refill text reminders and extra discounts for filling prescriptions consistently and on time.
Searching for the best medication prices – Highmark works with Free Market Health3, which provides real-time authorization for specialty drugs, so there are no delays. It also searches for the best price on a medication, which may result in lower out-of-pocket costs for members.

Highmark has contracted with Sempre Health, an independent company, to secure manufacturer discounts for select prescription medications. Savings for Highmark members will vary based on drug, member copay, and program requirements. The member will never pay more than the Plan copay.
