Talk to your doctor

Ask your doctor about prescribing medications on the formulary to make sure they are covered.

If you’re taking a drug not on the formulary, you may be responsible for the entire cost of the medications.
Some drugs on the formulary will cost more because they’re in a higher tier.
Some drugs require preauthorization.
