What's New at Highmark Inc.

Highmark participates in Earth Hour this Saturday.

Earth Hour is on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30 p.m. Millions of people across the world will participate by turning off their lights for one hour. Highmark's facilities in Camp Hill, Parkersburg, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes Barre will also be participating to show commitment to the environment and action on climate change.

Earth Hour, founded by the World Wildlife Fund in 2007, is a global movement uniting people to protect the planet. Earth Hour brings together communities from 127 countries and territories across the world to celebrate a commitment to the planet by switching off lights for one designated hour.

In addition to participating in Earth Hour, Highmark's responsibility to environmental stewardship includes resource conservation when the lights are on. Our facilities continually look for ways to conserve energy by using more efficient lighting, like LEDs, and installing occupancy sensors and controls.
