Formulary Quick Links

Trying to find out which of your prescription drugs are covered? Review the recent formulary updates below.

A formulary is the list of generic and brand-name prescription drugs covered by your plan. Drugs that do not appear on the formulary are not covered.

The formulary will also tell you:

  • What tier a drug is in and how this affects what you pay for your prescriptions.
  • If a preauthorization is required before a pharmacy can fill your prescription.

  • If you’re taking a drug not on the formulary, you may be responsible for the entire cost of the medications.
  • Some drugs on the formulary will cost more because they’re in a higher tier.
  • Some drugs require preauthorization.
