Highmark senior biobehavioral health scientist to moderate STEM Leadership Summit in honor of women's history month

• Highmark Inc., to sponsor Success in STEM Women’s Leadership Summit at Harrisburg University  

PITTSBURGH (March 16, 2023) — Highmark Inc., today announced that Dr. Oralia Dominic, an international award-winning health disparities scientist and medical policy research analyst at Highmark, will moderate the 2023 Success in STEM Women’s Leadership Summit in honor of Women’s History Month.

The summit will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., at Harrisburg University, and Highmark will serve as the lead sponsor.

STEM Up Network, an organization committed to advancing women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by preparing them with real-world strategies and relationships that support development and advancement within the field, is hosting the 2023 STEM Women’s Leadership Summit. STEM UP supports women in higher education, such as students, faculty, and early-career professionals. The summit will provide attendees with the skills they need to succeed in a STEM career path and tips for building and maintaining their professional networks.
