Don’t Go Without Coverage

Did you know Medical Assistance benefits must be renewed every 12 months? Don’t take the chance of missing out on healthcare coverage. Make sure you renew on time to avoid gaps in coverage. That way you and your loved ones get the care you need, when you need it. Our qualified Member Services team can help you with any questions to ensure that you do not lose your health coverage. 

How to Renew Coverage 

To keep Medical Assistance benefits open, this is what you must do:

  1. You will receive a renewal packet from the County Assistance Office (CAO) when it is time to renew your coverage.
    1. The packet will include forms that you will need to complete and return to the CAO.
    2. A self-addressed stamped envelope will be included for your convenience.
    3. It is very important for you to return the forms to the CAO by your shown due date.   
  2. You may also renew online at dhs.pa.gov/COMPASS. Instructions on how to use the COMPASS website to renew online will be included in your packet.
  3. Renew over the phone by calling the Consumer Service Center at 1-866-550-4355.

Download the myCOMPASS Pennsylvania mobile app to manage and access your benefits from your phone.

Remember to tell your Caseworker if you have moved.
