Extra benefits for expecting moms

You may get up to $175 for going to scheduled doctor exams or free home-delivered meals. Also, if you become a member during the last three months of your pregnancy, you may still keep your current doctor.

Tips if you’re newly pregnant

It’s important to focus on your health when you’re expecting. Don’t forget to:

  • See your Primary Care Provider (PCP) within 14 days. 
  • Talk to a Care Coordinator if you have questions about your pregnancy, benefits or getting help in your community. 
  • Contact Member Services to have information sent to you.

You’ll have 30 days after giving birth to get your baby’s benefits.  Once your baby is born, you want to make two important calls. First, call The Department of Human Services at 1-877-716-1212 to add your child to coverage. Then, call Member Services at 1-833-957-0020 (TTY: 711) to choose a pediatrician.
