Does your health plan include SilverSneakers?

If you have a Highmark Wholecare plan, you’re eligible for SilverSneakers starting August 1, 2025. There are two ways to check if you’re eligible:

1. Online: Visit SilverSneakers.com and use this online tool to check your eligibility based on your location and plan.

2. Over the phone: Call us at the number on the back of your Highmark Wholecare member ID card (TTY: 711). We’re available seven days a week, from 8 a.m.–8 p.m. from October 1–March 31. From April 1–September 30, our representatives are available Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Four steps to start using your SilverSneakers membership

If you need help with any of the steps above, call SilverSneakers at 888-423-4632 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

No. You don’t need to bring a card, but most gyms will ask for your SilverSneakers ID number. So it’s a good idea to write down your ID number — either on a piece of paper or in your mobile device. If you’ve used SilverSneakers before, your ID number will be the same.

Usually, but make sure to check the SilverSneakers website first — it’ll have info about your particular gym. You can also ask the front desk staff. If a class or amenity isn’t included, you can choose to pay for it out-of-pocket.
