Renewing your
Medicaid benefits

It’s time to renew Medicaid benefits for you or your child. The
process is simple — you can complete it in in three easy steps

    Step 1


    Keep an eye out for your renewal packet from the County Assistance Office. It contains the forms you’ll need to fill out.

    Step 2


    Gather the paperwork you’ll need to help determine if you qualify for Medicaid coverage: 

    • Two pay stubs from the last 90 days
    • Proof of address, like a utility bill or bank statement
    • Social Security card
    • Birth certificate
    • Insurance card

    Step Three


    Complete and submit your forms and documents.  

    You can do this by: 

    • Going online and visiting compass.state.pa.us
    • Mailing your packet to the County Assistance Office.
    • Dropping it off in person.
Make sure everything is completed and submitted by the date indicated in your mail packet.
