Financial Eligibility

Adults between the ages of 19-64 may be eligible for the plan if they are low-income. To know if you are qualified based on your income, you’ll want to look at the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (FPIG). If you earn less than 133% of the amount listed for the size of your household, you may be qualified.

Other Eligibility Requirements

Individuals 65 years or older who meet disability requirements could receive benefits.

Both single and married individuals with temporary disabilities could qualify under Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). This could include:

  • Pregnant women.
  • Dependent children and their parents or other relatives who with them and care for them.
  • Those under-going drug and alcohol treatment.
  • Victims of domestic violence.
  • Caring for a child or disabled person.
  • Special Medical Assistance conditions.
