Highmark announces sales leadership additions in central, northeastern Pennsylvania

Camp Hill, Pa. (Jan. 10, 2017) — Highmark recently appointed Stuart Bretz and Dan Day to lead its sales areas in the central (CPA) and northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) regions.

Bretz most recently has been leading the large and small group sales efforts in the NEPA region. He will now be expanding his responsibilities to include Strategic Accounts in the CPA region. Bretz has extensive health insurance sales experience, including with national insurer Aetna. He is a graduate of Temple University and the Fox School of Business and Management and is currently working on his MBA at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Day has joined Highmark as vice president of Large Group accounts for the CPA and NEPA regions. He has more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry, including positions with Aetna and most recently at Murray Securus Insurance, where he was VP of Health Benefits. Dan is a graduate of Ursinus College with a degree in economics and business administration. He also has his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certification from The Wharton School of Business and IFEBP.
