New “DataStream” Trading Partner Business Centers Launched

To support the creation and maintenance of new DataStream Trading Partner IDs, two new EDI Trading Partner Business Centers have been launched at www.highmark.com/edi-ibc and www.highmark.com/edi-amerihealth. Using these sites, you can register to submit and receive transactions through the Highmark Health Services Gateway.

The Highmark Health Services Gateway provides EDI capabilities for the following payers:

• Independence Blue Cross (54704). Includes benefit products issued by Keystone Health Plan East (95056) or benefit products administered by Independence Administrators (TA720). See www.ibx.com/edi for more information.
• AmeriHealth-affiliated companies. Includes benefit products issued by AmeriHealth HMO, Inc. (95044), AmeriHealth Insurance Company of New Jersey (including AmeriHealth PPO and Comprehensive Major Medical [60061]), or QCC Insurance Company d/b/a AmeriHealth Insurance Company (including AmeriHealth DE PPO [93688]) or benefit products administered by AmeriHealth Administrators (54763). These new EDI Trading Partner Business Centers also provide additional resources and information about submitting transactions through the Highmark Health Services Gateway.

Trading partners who have received their new DataStream Trading Partner ID: If you have received an email that contains your new DataStream Trading Partner ID for the Highmark Health Services Gateway, please click the registration link in that email to electronically accept your new Trading Partner Agreement (TPA) and register the receipt of your new DataStream Trading Partner ID.

Trading partners who have not yet received their new DataStream Trading Partner ID: If you currently submit transactions to any of the DataStream payers listed above but have not received an email that contains your new DataStream Trading Partner ID, please contact EDI Operations at 1-800-992-0246.

New trading partners: If you are a new trading partner who would like to register to submit claim transactions to any of the DataStream payers listed above, please visit the appropriate EDI Trading Partner Business Center at www.highmark.com/edi-ibc or www.highmark.com/edi-amerihealth. On these sites, you can register to submit and receive transactions through the Highmark Health Services Gateway, electronically accept a TPA, and receive your DataStream Trading Partner ID and new logon credentials. Changes made through either of these sites will update your DataStream Trading Partner ID that is used for conducting business via the Highmark Health Services Gateway with only the payers listed above. Even if you have multiple Trading Partner IDs for use with Highmark Health Services and the other payers it serves, these sites support only the DataStream Trading Partner ID used for the payers listed above.
